Mental Health Partners Modifies Warner House Services

Mental Health Partners (MHP) would like to share news about recent changes to our Warner House program. For years, our Warner House program has provided an alternative to hospitalizations through providing individuals intensive services focused on stabilizing psychiatric symptoms, changing their living environment and slowly transitioning them back to the community. This program has helped numerous clients over the years, providing important and valuable services in a collaborative and supportive community-based setting. As MHP assesses the changing healthcare landscape, state funding changes and other budget considerations, and the ongoing needs of our community, we have decided to no longer continue operating the Warner House program in its current form in the new fiscal year. The Warner House facility itself is not closing. Instead, we are starting the process of repurposing the eight client beds to meet current community needs. As these details are finalized, information will be posted on our website, as appropriate. All current MHP clients who were in the Warner House alternative hospital program as of June 13, 2018 have been discharged to appropriate levels of care. Additionally, the respite services that have been provided at the Warner House location since February 2018 will continue. We are proud of the positive impact this program had to clients’ lives and our community. As we move Warner House forward into this new chapter, we are confident our staff will continue to provide high-quality respite care, and other supportive services, to those who are in the most need.
