New Mental Health Partners’ Website Expands Access to Services Launch Coincides with National Mental Health Awareness Month Mental Health Partners (MHP) is proud to announce the launch of their redesigned website, which can still be found at www.mhpcolorado.org. The redesign specifically kept the client experience in mind and features a modern layout, dynamic imagery, mobile responsive elements and functionality that makes it more convenient than ever for Boulder/Broomfield County individuals to access MHP’s comprehensive mental health and addiction services. An example of the new functionality elements is a secure, online registration form, available throughout the website as part of the featured “3 Steps to Access Care.” This online registration form allows clients to begin the process of seeking care by submitting key information, such as name, age, contact information, their reason for contacting MHP, etc., to MHP’s admissions and registration team. Previously, individuals who wanted to submit this information had to download the registration form via PDF onto a computer desktop, complete it, and then email it back to MHP. An even more cumbersome option was to print the form, complete it and drop it off or scan/send it to MHP. Now, individuals can simply complete a secure, online registration form that is instantly submitted to MHP’s admissions and registration team. Also, with the website’s new mobile responsive design, this form can be completed on any smartphone. This functionality removes barriers for individuals who do not have access to a computer. MHP still accepts registrations over the phone (by calling (303) 443-8500) or in-person (at one of MHP’s convenient locations in Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette or Broomfield). The launch of the new website was purposefully planned to coincide with National Mental Health Awareness Month (NMHA). NHMA raises awareness and educates the public about mental illnesses, highlights strategies for attaining mental health and wellness, draws attention to suicide, and reduces the stigma surrounding mental illnesses. MHP’s focus for NMHA is #EndTheStigma and #ExpandTheAccess. Throughout the month of May, MHP will highlight different parts of the new site on social media, including pages featuring new functionality elements; the new, comprehensive Philanthropy page (www.mhpcolorado.org/donate); and the Community page (http://www.mhpcolorado.org/community), where MHP’s expert trainings will be featured. MHP invites the community to check out their new website and join the conversation regarding the importance of access to comprehensive mental health and addiction services on Facebook (@MentalHealthPartnersCO) and Twitter (@MentalHealthCO).
